This customer in Lambeth had already had two safe engineers out to inspect the unit. Both had informed him they could not undertake the work, presumably as it's a fairly uncommon Italian manufacturer. This customer in Berkeley square required the vault opening, as the previous tenant was an Arabian bank who had vacated the property, leaving with the code. Within a few hours the vault was open. Attempted break in Romford. They had tried to force entry by angle grinding the hinges off! Although this would never enable entry to the unit, it will and did cause an issue for the customer; rendering the safe un-usable. After performing a temporary repair (to put the safe back in service), I machined a new hinge pin in the workshop, and had the safe back to its original condition.
